Dear Mr. President,
I realize you are now probably totally iinvolved in the preparations for Jenna’s wedding. I wouldn’t want to rain on your parade, as it were, but have you considered how many people may die in Sadr City even just during Jenna’s ceremony?
Please let us consider negotiations. Please let us consider talking to Muqtada al-Sadr. Please let us consider working together with the Iranians. Please let us try to stop the violence and the wholesale bombings.
