Dear Mr. President

Dear Mr. President,

    At the President’s Dinner – a Republican fund-raiser – you said:

“Over the past 17 months, Democrats in Congress have routinely filed legislation with excessive spending. But there was an important thing that stood between them and the American people paying more in taxes, and it’s called a veto pen.”

 

In the first place, excessive spending is  not what the Democrats are suggesting; it is what you are doing on an illegal and immoral war.

 

In the second place, I can think of better things for you to do with a pen than use it to thwart the will of the American people, but I won’t go into detail lest I offend your sensibilities.
