Dear Mr. President,
When you came into office, the dollar was worth over a Euro. Now it is
worth 64 Euro cents. When you came into office, we had that surplus, and you gave us tapayers bunches of money back -
instead of using the money for Social Security or Education or, say, levies.
Now you say Social Security is broken. Education is leaving untold
number of children behind. And the levies are constantly being breached.
And yet you are once again going to give us taxpayers bunches of money
back – only, of course, t’ain’t worth much now. And it’s not from a
surplus, no no. You’re digging farther into the deficit.
Mr. President, you are no better than a thief. I don’t just want my money back. I want our honor back. I want education back. I want Social Security back. I want democracy back. I want peace back.
Sincerely, VNV
