Dear Mr. President,
I just read today’s Press Briefing. What a bleak bunch of news! The Disaster Relief Fund is being depleted. There are fears we may not have enough money to help our own people through these miseries! And the Red Cross is having to borrow money to assist people in disasters right now in the U.S.
Meanwhile, the Taliban is taking over whole towns and villages. Pakistan and Afghanistan are at logger heads. Maltreated Guantanamo prisoners have apparently been hidden away when the Red Cross came to check on them. And your disapproval rating is the worst since disapproval ratings were measured.
Well, I should think it would be! You’ve traded our inheritance for a mess of potage (or Mess o’ potamia), Mr. President. There’s nothing left!
