Dear Mr. President,
Aspirational time horizon? Aspirational time horizon? Aspirational time horizon? What the heck is that? How about a timeline? Whatever happened to benchmarks? Are there any benchmarks on the aspirational time horizon? Or earmarks, for that matter – oh, wait those are those add-ons to the bills Congress keeps trying to pass establishing a timeline.
How about milestones, since we’re back to geography with that horizon? Or yardlines, like in football. Hey, how will we ever know we have reached this aspirational time horizon? Horizons can’t be reached. They keep disappearing into the distance.
